DUCTWORK FACING OPTIONS
Minimising noise and condensation is an important consideration when designing buildings. For buildings requiring high levels of acoustic and condensation control Fletcher Insulation has a range of facing options to suit your project requirements. Selecting the right type of ductwork insulation can optimise a buildings overall energy efficiency and minimise the strain on HVAC systems. The following range of facings shown below are available.
Sisalation® Vapastop® 883
Sisalation® Vapastop® 883 Aluminium Facing Foil is
a fully sealed continuous acoustic membrane (CAM)
suitable as an internal liner for ductwork. It is ideal
for applications where a vapour barrier is required
combined with superior indoor air quality performance
to minimise the risk of fibres entering the duct’s air
stream, whilst also maintaining a superior NRC acoustic
value. Vapastop® 883 can sustain mechanical cleaning.

Reflective Facing Foil suitable as an internal liner
for ductwork. Providing superior NRC acoustic
performance values where noise minimisation is

Black Matt Facing (BMF) is a light duty glass tissue
facing which delivers an aesthetic solution for
applications where the internal duct lining is partially
visible. It is ideal for internally lined ductwork where
noise minimisation is essential. It is unsuitable for
mechanical cleaning

Sisalation® Heavy Duty (HD) Reflective Facing Foil
delivers a superior water and vapour barrier providing
long term durability against condensation. It is
ideal for externally lagged ductwork where a higher
resistance to water vapour transmission is essential.
